The SMS (Short Message Service) text service, hosted by O2 for the Gloucestershire Constabulary, is a special service for the deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired people of Gloucestershire. It is a service for registered users only to provide ease of access to non-emergency police services provided within the county. If you need the Fire or Ambulance Services, your message will be passed directly to them, as their control centre is int the same building.
To register for this service, write to the Gloucestershire Constabulary for a form, or register on-line; once registered, you willbe given a dedicatednumber provided specifically for this service.
