The TAR Support Group is parent led and aims to offer support to families affected by TAR Syndrome through information leaflets, a Linklist, helpline and meetings.

TAR Syndrome (Thrombocytopenia with absent radii) is a rare disorder characterised by a reduction of the number of platelets in the blood and bilateral absence of the radii (forearm bones). The Group publishes an annual newsletter and their leaflets include: What is a blood platelet?, Heart Defects and TAR Syndrome, which are also included on the website.
