Comment: | Gloucestershire Children's Fund commission services to provide a flexible and innovative approach to meeting the needs of children aged five to thirteen years. As part of the programme, children and young people can apply for up to £500.00 Community Chest money to benefit a group or community. The Community Chest can be awarded to help one of the following:
+ bullying and friendships;
+ children's confidence and self-esteem;
+ children to feel safe;
+ play and boredom;
+ family difficulties;
+ drug and alcohol problems;
+ children to stay out of trouble with the police.
Children and their families or the group they belong to have to come from one of the following areas: Barton; Tredworth; White City; Matson; Podsmead; Coney Hill; Hesters Way; St. Mark's; Innsworth; Churchdown Parton; Cashes Green; Cainscross; Cinderford.
The application form is child friendly, so children can fill it in themselves. |
