Comment:

ASLTIP (the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice) has two main functions:
to provide information on independent speech and language therapists throughout the United Kingdom;
to support therapists in independent practice. All ASLTIP therapists are certified members of The Royal College Of Speech and Language Therapists (Cert.MRCSLT) and registered with the Health Professions Council.
They are also committed to good business standards.
Speech and language therapists assess communication problems and then give treatment to enable people to communicate to the best of their ability. Therapists work with the family where necessary and may also give advice to schools.

A list of registered speech and language therapists is available on-line at their website.
