Comment: | The Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) run a Youth Leadership@Sea Scheme for sixteen to twenty five year olds. Onboard the participants will be set challenges and tasks to improve their leadership, seamanship and communication skills. Participants will have the opportunity to shadow a Bosun's Mate (volunteer permanent crew) and work closely with your watchleader.
During the voyage participants will also have a mentor (a member of permanent crew) who will assist and evaluate them. More information can be found on the website (click on 'Youth Scheme'). Jubilee Sailing Trust voyages of five days or more qualify for the Gold Residential element of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
