RNIB Talk and Support provides a range of telephone groups for people with sight problems in the UK. The services are available from the comfort of their own home, using the telephone.
Talk and Support services provide opportunities for people to continue to socialise, learn, share information and support each other
Two telephone groups are currently on offer. They are:
+ Tele Befriending (Social groups over the telephone) - this costs £2.00 per weekly session;
+ Tele Support (Telephone information and discussion groups based on subjects around sight loss);
+ The Tele Support group on benefits is free to join thanks to the kind support from HBOS.
