TACT's mission is to assist in making life as fulfilling, contributing, self directed and, as ordinary as possible for people with a learning difficulty, physical or sensory disability, autistic spectrum disorder or other continuing support need. They offer:
Individual Supported Living - tailor made support for people living in their own home, which is flexible and meets their needs;
Group Homes - personalised support in a shared setting;
Opportunities - matching people's skills and interests with employment, sporting and
other opportunities within their community;
Family Support - advice, information and support to families over a whole range of issues;
Respite - breaks for service users and their carers;
Support to Work - helps people find work and provides the support they need;
Consultancy - support to meet the specific needs of its organisational clients.
They also offer a floating support service for people with a learning disability in the Stroud area, through the Supporting People programme on 07974 572253.
