Partners of Prisoners and Families Support Group (POPS) aims to provide a variety of services to support anyone who has a link with someone in prison, prisoners themselves, and other agencies. They do this by providing adcocacy, emotional support, practical information, casework via the national Prisoners' Families Helpline, visitors' centres and family link workers. The Prisoners' Families Helpline (0808-808-2003) is a free and confidential service for anyone who is affected by the imprisonment of a close family member or friend.
POPS is based in Manchester but handles cases from all over the United Kingdom. Their work is funded by a variety of sources including Charitable Trusts and the National Probation Service.
