They provide supported living, advocacy, outreach and club house activities for any deaf person in need of emotional support. Sign provide tailor made training on deaf awareness for health care professionals who wish to improve the accessibility of their services for their deaf customers. They are also currently running a campaign, Reaching Deaf Minds (see website at www.reachingdeafminds.org.uk) to raise awareness and enable deaf people to gain access to appropriate primary care services, so they are at less risk of developing mental health problems.
