The English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) is the national body responsible for developing sport for disabled people in England. They work closely with the following National Disability Sports Organisations recognised by Sport England:
+ British Amputees and Les Autres Sports Association;
+ British Blind Sport;
+ UK Deaf Sport;
+ Wheelpower;
+ Mencap Sport;
The head office is at Manchester Metropolitan University in Alsager near Crewe and there is a network of seven regions who support national priorities and develop sports programmes to respond to local needs. |
