The Refugee Legal Centre (Dover) provides legal advice and assistance to asylum seekers in the south east of England, and will visit prisoners or detainees. They have a number of trained caseworkers that are specialists, only dealing in asylum law. Additionally they currently deal with appeals, subject to available resources. They have particular experience and expertise in advising unaccompanied asylum seeking children.
They are funded by a Legal Services Commission contract and provide services free of charge to financially eligible clients. To make an appointment telephone or visit the office between 10.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
