Organisation:Gloucester Recovery Team

Comment:

The Gloucester Recovery Team is for adults of working age. People are referred to the Team from their GP via Primary Care (Gloucester and Forest of Dean PCAT - see separate record), and will normally have a full mental health assessment interview . They may be assessed by a Nurse, OT, Clinical Psychologist, Doctor or Social Worker. Treatment may include individual work, group work or occupational therapy. This service is for people with severe mental health problems which cannot be dealt with in the Primary Care setting.
The multi-disciplinary team is clinically led by a Consultant Psychiatrist and managed by a Team Leader. Transport can be arranged if difficulties arise, via volunteer and health provision.
