Comment:

Gloucester Face to Face is a free, confidential one to one befriending service, providing the families with a special needs child the opportunity to informally discuss their feelings and worries with someone who understands. A befriender is a parent, carer or even a grandparent who has been in the same position and understands how you are feeling. They can help by just being there and listening. They can help when families are feeling emotional, tearful or stressed, when they have just heard that their baby has problems, when there is a transitional period or crisis situation.
