Organisation:Rehab UK - Birmingham Brain Injury Centre

Comment:

Rehab UK provides assessment, training and development programmes that enable people with disabilities to break into the workforce. Founded in 1994, the development of a network of innovative brain injury centres is now the main focus of its work.
Clients are helped to identify their strengths and weaknesses following a head injury.
For those who cannot return to their original employment, a variety of methods are employed to examine the alternatives including work experience placements with the support of specialist job coaches and occupational psychologists.
Each centre works in co-operation with health and social services, statutory employment services, voluntary agencies and local employers.
