Max Appeal is a support and self -help group for families affected by DiGeorge Syndrome (DGS), Velo Cardio Facial Syndrome (VCFS), Shprintzen Syndrome and 22Q11 deletion. It offers advice and information, a national support network for parents and social events for families.
Regular informal meetings (sometimes with speakers) are held quarterly at the Spring Centre, Quedgeley, Gloucester GL2 4NF. Other social events, trips, etc, are organised preiodically around the country - see website for details.
There is also a helpline number (twenty four hour ansaphone) - 0800-389-1049.
