The Pituitary Foundation is a national patient support group for pituitary patients, their families, friends and carers. It is estimated that there are between forty and seventy thousand pituitary patients in the UK and the Foundation was launched in November 1994 following research amongst patients and clinicians regarding the need for such an organisation. It offers information, an annual general meeting, a quarterly newsletter and an excellent web-site.
