Comment: | British Red Cross - Independent Living Products (formerly known as Ability) is wholly owned by the British Red Cross. The mail order catalogue offers hundreds of products to help you with daily tasks around the home; from opening a jam jar to getting in the bath.
There are sections on mobility, bathing, toileting, sleeping/bedding aids and many items for all around the home, including the kitchen. There is also a wide range of continence products available.
All proceeds raised go to support the work of the British Red Cross which, every day, helps hundreds of thousands of people regain or retain their independence in th UK. In fact, in 2006, an estimated two hundred thousand people took advantage of our short term medical loan service, borrowing wheelchairs, walking frames, even crutches.
