Modern-Eyes is an independent magazine for visually impaired people living in Gloucestershire. It is edited by two visually impaired ladies with a vast wealth of knowledge and experience concerning visual impairment. It aims to encourage people to make the most of their residual vision and help them appreciate the positive aspects. In particular, Modern Eyes aims to help and encourage visually impaired people to use computers, with news on the latest user friendly software and technology. Sue Allard is also the Gloucestershire contact for the British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society. Modern-Eyes is available by e-mail, on floppy disk, Daisy CD, from the Website, in large print, Braille and audio tapes.
