Bristol Old Vic have launched a new service specifically for Blind and Visually Impaired patrons. The installation of an infra-red facility in the Theatre Royal enables them to offer audio described performances for all Bristol Old Vic productions. Audio description is the art of translating visual images into verbal ones, describing scenery, costumes, body language and action on stage. For further information contact the box office.
Bristol Old Vic's box office is open from 10:00am to 8:00pm, Monday to Saturday (10:30am on Wednesdays).
