Organisation:Community Law Partnership

Comment:

The Community Law Partnership is a radical progressive firm of solicitors specialising in housing law and advising Travellers - especially around evictions, planning and site problems. They aim to give a personal, expert and friendly service to all clients. It provides legal advice by telephone and post, to people who could not otherwise reach or afford legal advisors. It is provided by qualified, independent advisors or solicitors whose work is carried out to Specialist Quality Mark standards and it is funded by the Government. Calls to the Travellers' Advice Line are charged at a local call rate ie. no more than 4p per minute. The phone line is open Monday to Friday 10:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00 to 5:00pm. When you call, it may be helpful if you have details of your income, any benefits you receive and any savings you have. You will also need your National Insurance number. They also see clients at their offices, and represent tenants and homeless people.
The Community Law Partnership is part of the Community Legal Service (CLS). Please see separate records for the CLS, and for its information and advice service, Community Legal Services Direct (CLSD).
