The Supporting People Programme is a government funded initiative which is administered locally by Gloucestershire County Council. It funds housing related support services to vulnerable adults, via contacts with service providers. The Supporting People Gloucestershire team consists of eleven full-time members of staff, based in 68 Westgate Street. They can be contacted for advice on services purchased through the programme.
Supporting People Gloucestershire does not act as gate-keeper to access to the programme. The entry to the services is controlled by the providers of the service.
