Comment: | This project is in its early infancy and to date has no formal structure or accommodation. A very small group of volunteers in Gloucestershire is working on a new project with the aim of enhancing the quality of life for adults with profound and multiple disabilities. Provision for disabled children is available to a certain extent but once young people reach the age of nineteen there are very limited resources. Good Moves would like to develop a centre in which some form of physical and social activity is made possible by the use of inflatable equipment, trampolines and imagination. The aim will be to offer the opportunity to enjoy movement to people for whom this is not readily possible. It has also become clear that Good Moves must work to raise awareness of the needs of adults with profound and multiple disabilities, who can be largely ignored by society. Good Moves is a registered charitable company.
