The Gardening Assistance Scheme - Care and Repair (Stroud) offers help with general gardening tasks which garden owners are unable to carry out. The scheme matches local gardeners to local people. Six to twelve hours of gardening may be provided throughout the summer; charged at £4.00 per hour. Office phone line open Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 12 noon.
Service area covered: Those living within Stroud District Council area.
In 2007 a link with the Royal British Legion will increase capacity and provide help free of charge for those eligible for RBL help. Please call the Gardening Assistance Scheme for details.
