The Health Resource Centre is part of the Whaddon, Lynworth and Priors Neighbourhood Project. It serves people primarily in these areas of Cheltenham. The Centre provides advice and information on all kinds of health related topics (including housing and benefits) and provides a range of services including advocacy, Cheltenham CAB outreach sessions, CAREdirect outreach sessions (Thursdays 10:00am to 1:00pm), reflexology (£7.00 per session), massage (£7.00 per session) and chiropody (subsidised fees). The Centre hosts Support to Stop Smoking and Weight Management courses, and provides healthy eating support (including bus trips to Tewkesbury market to buy fresh produce). The Centre is open 10:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
Exercise Classes take place on Monday and Thursday evenings, 7:00 to 8:00pm, at a cost of £1.50 per class.
