Comment: | The English Churches Housing Group, through its Homeless Action Programme, provides outreach, resettlement, floating support and a rent guarantee scheme for rough sleepers and single homeless people over the age of twenty five. They have contacts with private accommodation and also that provided by RSL's and the local authority. They work closely with the Police, Hospital, Social Services, Probation, Prison Service and Addiction Treatment Unit. Also they work closely with other housing associations and housing providers such as Stonham and GEAR, and in partnership with Gloucester City Council and with many other voluntary agencies. |
