Comment:

The Volunteering Shop encourages students at The University of Gloucestershire to initiate, run and support student led projects and give their time to local charities. The Volunteering Shop runs projects that work with people with learning disabilities, children, young people and older people.
One of the projects is called the Diamond Club, and is a weekly social club for adults with moderate learning disabilities. The club meets every Tuesday lunchtime from 12:30 to 2:00pm (semester time only) at the Student Union on the Park Campus. For more details contact the students union.
The Volunteering Shop also runs other projects aimed at various other groups in the community - contact them for more details
