Comment:

The Circulation Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, is a national charity, established primarily to fund research into finding cures, better treatments and improve diagnosis of vascular (circulatory) disease. One in two people will die, or at least suffer from, vascular disease in some form or another and yet it is poorly understood. It can threaten life, limb or lifestyle and is no respecter of age, gender or race. As well as funding important research projects, the Foundation has also set up a patient information service via its leaflets and website and is dedicated to raising more awareness of vascular disease, the devastation it can cause and how it can be prevented.
