Comment: | Together in Matson, formerly the Matson Churches Youth and Community Project, provides four nights of youth work in five groups (aged eight to twenty five). They provide excluded pupils with a weekly inclusion group, and with the PCT, they offer a young people's health drop-in - 'Sid's Place'. They provide one-to-one mentoring, advice and personal development.
They encourage inter-generational work, by hosting an elderly people's lunch club, aa well as an all-age art club. Also available is a comprehensive holiday programme for young people, with PAYP (Positive Action for Young People) and the Local Network Fund. They are part of local Child Action Teams.
