Selwyn Care provides specialised residential care for adults with autism in a large listed manor house, together with a separate day care facility in the adjoining converted stable block.
Programmes for all clients are tailored to meet their individual needs and with autistic clients acknowledge and address the various needs identified as the 'triad of impairments'. Activities include those based in the community as well as in our own extensive day centre. Facilities include swimming, animal care, sensory room, workshops, jacuzzis and therapists in art, music and aroma/reflexology. All these are available for hire on a weekly, daily or sessional basis. Large rooms and spacious grounds are offered as standard and combine with a team of committed and dedicated carers, instructors and therapists to provide a complete service to all our clients.
