This is a voluntary group supported by Social Services, established to provide a culturally appropriate meeting place for elderly and disabled Hindus. They currently meet once week at a local community centre, Charter Court, Victoria Street, Gloucester. Activities include meditation, religious chanting, board games, arts and crafts and includes visits from speakers eg. Social Services, City Council, Age Concern etc. A culturally appropriate meal is provided at a minimal cost. Coach outings are arranged to religious sites, the seaside and places of social and cultural interest.
