Gymnation has a membership from over twenty nationalities. It was established as a non profit making charity to health and fitness facilities available to the local community, and is trying in particular to encourage take up of exercise among the local community and hard to reach groups. They have won national awards and recognition for work in the community, particularly with young people. Memberships and fees are kept at a minimum to encourage uptake and improve accessibility. Opening times are:
+ Monday to Sunday 9:30am to 11:30am:
+ Monday to Friday, 4:30 to 8:30pm.
There are also some sessions for women only at separate times due to cultural and religious reasons - times: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday 12:15 to 3:00pm, Wednesday 12:15 to 2:00pm.
