The Caraline Centre for education and therapy was established in 1994. Caraline provides help, advice and information to people with eating disorders, their family and friends. You can call the Caraline help line for a general chat if you are worried or concerned or for particular information on any aspect of an eating disorder. Caraline places an emphasis upon engaging with sufferers in the early stages of the illness. Self-help groups are run from the organisation's headquarters in Luton, but the helpline is available to anyone. The Carers' Helpline (01582-751783) runs every Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00pm, just for people caring for someone with an eating disorder.
People can also becomes Friends of Caraline for a membership fee of £3.00 per month minimum.
