Comment: | Care and Repair South Gloucestershire is a non-profit making service that provides advice and support to older and / or disabled home owners or private tenants with repairs and adaptations.
Care and Repair provides the following services:-
+ A home visit to assess the client's need.
+ Assistance in finding finance for the work, such as local authority grants, voluntary sector funds, loans and private resources.
+ Advice on work to be carried out.
+ Assistance with finding a reliable builder using a list of approved contractors.
+ Inspection of building works.
+ Advice about other services that may be available.
Care and Repair South Gloucestershire has a home from hospital project. It tries to address acute housing problems in order to facilitate discharge from care or prevent admission.
It is jointly funded by South Gloucestershire Council and Hanover Housing Association and DLTR. |
