Comment: | Stratford Park Leisure Centre is a popular sports facility in Stroud and has an indoor and an outdoor pool, squash courts and courts for other ball sports including tennis. Contact the centre for more details. A creche is available for children aged three months to eight years for users of the centre and activities are organised during school holidays for children from two years upwards, including swimming sessions and skating.
Also available in Stratford Park are a bowling green, and tennis courts available for hire, and a nine-hole putting green. A model railway is located in the woodland area and offers rides for children every last Sunday in the month.
The park has an extensive play area for young children, and for older children there is a skateboard park area and a full size outdoor basketball court. These are free facilities.
