The Guildhall hosts a range of activities for older people including:
+ cinema matinees every Wednesday and Saturday at 2:00pm, when they screen films selected to appeal to older audiences;
+ the University of the Third Age, which hold classes in everything from the arts to flower arranging at the Guildhall;
+ music, comedy, exhibitions and cinema, sometimes with subtitles;
The cinema has an induction loop and the theatre an infra red system for the hard of hearing, and wheelchair access is available by lift to all floors.
The Centre is open 10:00am to 5:00pm (or to 11:00pm when there is an evening event or film screeniing) Tuesday and Wednesday, 10:00am to 11:00pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
