Organisation:Housing Ombudsman Service

Comment:

The Housing Ombudsman Service deals with complaints and disputes between landlords and tenants. The Ombudsman has a statutory jurisdiction over all registered social landlords in England. Private and other landlords can join the service on a voluntary basis - you can contact the service to find out if your landlord is a member.
Comprehensive information about the service is available in English, many other languages, braille, audio cassette and large print; it can be requested via the website, or by phoning the service.
Copies of their leaflet and complaint forms are available at GUiDE.
