Comment: | This is the administration address for the BAPT - anyone looking for a play therapist in any part of the country can contact BAPT at this address and request a list of play therapists in their area. The list is also available on the BAPT website, alongside useful information about play therapy, how it can help children and how to train in the profession. BAPT aims to raise awareness of play therapy and how it is a valuable and effective therapy for children who are ill or disabled, children who have been abused or who have witnessed violence, and children who have behavioural problems. They produce a quarterly magazine (free to BAPT members, £5.00 to non-members) and reading lists.
They also offer the following publications:
+ A Guide to Play Therapy;
+ What is Play Therapy?
+ Play Therapy Booklet for Children;
+ Play Therapy in Schools.
Order forms for these are available on their website. |
