The Churn Neighbourhood Project is a community centre offering various activities and support for people living in the Watermoor and Beeches areas of Cirencester. Courses include New Baby, New Life sessions, run on Wednesdays between 2:00 and 3:30pm by a nursery nurse. They also run Dads and Kids fun sessions at weekends; also available are basic skills including cookery, computing, literacy and numeracy, watercolour and craft-for-profit courses. Holidays and outings for various groups are also organised through The Churn. Please contact the Churn Project directly for up-to-date course information.
Many of the activities are supported by volunteers and the Cirencester College (Tel. 01285-626262). The Churn receives funding from Cotswold District Council and Gloucestershire County Council.
