Comment:

The Association helps in the rehabilitative process of people who lose their hearing, either partially or totally. The Association provides a point of contact for members of the public looking for their nearest lipreading class and/or for more information on lipreading. The Association campaigns for lipreading classes to be made available, to all those who need them, free of charge.

The Association also aims to provide support for lipreading teachers enabling them to serve the needs of hearing impaired people. Membership is available to qualified lipreading teachers and includes a bi-annual newsletter and magazine. Other publications and training are also available.
