| Organisation: | Lincolnshire Post-polio Network |
Comment: | The Lincolnshire Post-Polio Network is an information service for polio survivors and medical professionals. It is a registered charity run by polio survivors, and has a dual role in responding to requests for information and being proactive in increasing post-polio awareness.
It publishes a bi-monthly newsletter and provides an extensive medical library freely accessible via the Internet. The library contains an extensive collection of full text articles on Post-Polio conditions, in addition to a categorised directory of polio resources. Polio news items from around the world are regularly included in the NewsBites section and all the bi-monthly LincPIN newsletters are available online. A text search facility is also provided. |
