The Centre operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year providing an accessible service to customers. The Customer Service Centre run by ECHG Services is a key part of English Churches Housing Groups structure, recognising that the telephone, e-mail and internet are primary means of communication for many people and usually easier than a letter or personal visit.
This is especially true for clients with special needs such as the deaf and hard of hearing or those with physical disabilities.
By calling a local rate number tenants can easily make a query about their rents or benefits, report a repair or enquire about any other issue that they would normally do through a local area office.
Trained staff answer tenants queries directly or refer them to a local staff member who can visit the customer.
