BBC Children in Need is a national grant-making trust which distributes over thirty million pounds a year to help children in need in the UK. BBC Children in Need helps children aged eighteen and under in the UK, those whose disadvantage include any kind of disability, behavioural or psychological problems, those living in poverty or situations of deprivation, illness, distress, abuse or neglect.
Grant applications can only be considered if they fall within those categories. BBC Children in Need welcomes applications for good quality projects which show a clear focus on improving children's lives. A grant application form and guidelines are available.
BBC Children in Need holds an annual appeal for supporters to raise money through fun events. Fund-raising pack also available with ideas and how to organise an event. For those wishing to apply for a grant to help children in need or wishing to raise money on their behalf , please contact Central Office for further details.
