Comment: | The Cancer Resource Centre is a registered charity working with people with cancer, their families, friends and health professionals. The Centre and its services have a holistic approach seeking to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people they see. It offers information, support and a selection of complementary therapies which may be used alongside medical treatment. The centre is staffed by professionals who work as a team and also train and supervise volunteers. Their services are offered both within The Centre and on a home visiting basis.
In addition, the Cancer Resource Centre offers an Asian outreach service. Various cancer publications are available in Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil and Urdu. |
